Tonight I saw the Buffalo Killers. My understanding is that they are made up of a couple ex-members of Thee Shams. Check them out!

The Kissers

I plan on seeing Wisconsin Irish rock band "The Kissers" later tonight. I don't know much about them, but Greg Palast has raved about their sound so they have that going for them I guess. I will post on it.

Cursed Sleep

Will Oldham has been called one of the best songwriters alive. His new favorite moniker is Bonnie "Prince" Billy and his new album is called "The Letting Go." It was recorded in Iceland and Dawn McCarthy provides the back-up vocals. I have listened to the CD a few times through and it is rapidly growing on me. I own four or five Oldham albums so I am by no means a super-fan, and I wouldn't put this in the same category as "I see a Darkness," but it is worth checking out.

Lived in Bars

Chan Marshall isn't depressed anymore! I just saw this video and I thought it was great. I hear she may be the new face of chanel. I don't know shit about fashion, so I don't know how much of a big deal that is, but she sure is a beautiful woman.

A blog for music!

I love music. I grew up surrounded by music. My dad used to play Cat Stevens tunes to put my brothers and I to sleep. My mother sings Christian music in a group named "Special Delivery." Although my musical talents are quite limited, I did become a fan of nearly all genres.

I decided I will post some of my favorite videos when I feel lazy and when I feel motivated, maybe review some concerts and albums. I usually buy a new CD every week and I try to get to at least a couple concerts a month so hopefully I will have stuff to write about.

I don't plan on updating this much more than 3 or 4 times a month but who knows.
